DC Wins First Round Game!

After a rough start in the opening round of the State tournament, DC Varsity Boys were able to pull off the win and will head to the next round on Friday.
The first quarter found the Eagles down 4-20! They played a great second quarter defensively holding the Horizon Honors Eagles to only one point. They went in to half-time down 16-21.

Desert Pulls Off a Tough Win in Overtime!

Desert Christian had a rough season opener against San Manuel last nights. Baskets were just not dropping for the Eagles but they prevailed in the long run. The final score in OT (overtime) was 46-43. Horizon Honors is a good team for the Sat match-up which is our next game. Don't forget admission is FREE for all games on Sat. Dec 5th with a special gym dedication ceremony happening before the boys varsity game...6:30-7 pm ish depending on the prior games. So, come out and cheer on your Eagles!!
Desert Takes 2nd in Boyd Baker Classic!

DC Varsity Boys made it all the way to the final game of the Boyd Baker Classic. They played against the tournament host team of St. Gregory for the championship game. After three days of solid play, DC fought hard to overcome a big halftime deficit. They came within five points in the second half, but St. Greg's was able to hang on for the win. Regular season play will start with a home game on Dec. 2nd against San Manuel at 7:00pm. Come out and cheer on your Eagles!
